Where to Call or Search
Jefferson County inmate and arrest records are split among the regional jail, the Sheriff's Office, and the courts. Eastern Regional Jail handles jail custody for Jefferson County through WVDCR. The Sheriff's Office handles law-enforcement services and report copies when it is the responding agency. Court charges and case files are handled in Charles Town by the Magistrate Court and Circuit Clerk.
